> Personal Background

Hi, I’m Francesco Di Pietro, a Computer Engineering student at the Polytechnic University of Torino with a strong passion for programming, hardware, and emerging technologies.

I enjoy building things that merge theory with practice—whether it's designing network simulators in Python, prototyping IoT systems with Arduino and MQTT, or fine-tuning embedded devices like Raspberry Pi and quadcopters. I started coding on a Casio fx-702P calculator and have since developed skills in C, Python, Java, SQL, and Linux administration, along with hands-on experience in Docker, REST APIs, and Git.

Beyond technical work, I've also held leadership roles in BEST Torino (Board of European Students of Technology), where I served as IT-Coordinator, Treasurer, and Project Manager for international events. These experiences helped me grow as a team leader, problem-solver, and communicator while managing both people and resources effectively.

This portfolio is a collection of the projects, experiments, and ideas I've been working on—bridging the gap between curiosity and practical solutions.
